Gift Cards to Support our Women's Ministry

What if you could buy what you already buy – spend no additional money – and the church received financial benefit? Wouldn’t it make sense – wouldn’t it be wise stewardship - to do that? Of course it would!

That is exactly what our Scrip program is. You buy a card for places you already go, and use the card like cash, and the church receives between 2-8%. Starbucks, Safeway, Walmart, Macy’s, Home Depot, Gas, Bath & Body, and 100’s more.  It has provided scholarships and sponsorships – it is an investment in lives. 

Here is what it requires of you:

  1. Plan ahead. Part of the problem is that we don’t plan ahead in our budgeting or purchasing. The scrip order goes in once a month. Scrip won’t make you spend more – but it does require that you plan ahead.
  2. If this is a challenge, start with one  card. I know budgets are tight, but with a little planning, we can start with one card.
  3. If you frequently go to Starbucks, buy a Scrip Starbucks card (it is the exact same card), and make sure you re-load the card through Scrip – not at Starbucks. You will continue to support the ladies’ ministry with each drink! :)

-         Sign up for your own account online. I just did it – it takes 3 minutes.  Click HERE  , enter your information. After you register, it will ask for your enrollment code for the church, enter: B3e9bbc524357

-         Remember, the order goes in once-a-month, and the cards come the next week. Karen can tell you when the order is going in.
