Fly the Kite
“One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.  If then you have not been faithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will entrust to you the true riches?”
Luke 16:9-11

How you do anything is how you’ll do everything. If you’re faithful with a little, you will be faithful with a lot.
“So he answered and said to me:  “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.”
Zechariah 4:6

The Holy Spirit is the difference between the best you can do, and the best God can do.

There comes a moment when you stop talking to God about your mountains, and you start talking to the mountains about your God.
‘Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone. With shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”
Zechariah 4:7

He is still the God who makes sidewalks through the sea.
He is still the God who makes the sun stand still.
He is the God who turns water into wine.
He is still the God who moves mountains.
‘Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain!” “Do not despise the day of SMALL BEGINNINGS, for the Lord rejoices to see the work BEGIN, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.”
Zechariah 4:10 (NLT)

1) Give yourself a start date

  • I’m not qualified
  • I’m not ready
  • I’m waiting for the right situation

“Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.”
Ecclesiastes 11:4

Cast your bread upon the waters for after many days you will find it again.”
Ecclesiastes 11:1

2) Go ahead and dream big, but start small.

  • You have to find a way to fly the kite a little higher every day

3) If you want every day to count, count the days
